Play Under Pressure: SPLIT THE POST
January 28, 2010It’s always been hard for a coach to create a play in between games. So as a coach I have to look for ways or device a plan for me to be able to meet the challenge of the pressure. Per advise of Coach Pat Anderson, he send me a copy of a play that would be able to go with the pressure of an aggressive defensive strategy.
One of the best play for aggressive defense is to run the SPLIT THE POST Offense. This play runs four different options. This is a play mastered by Wisconsin high school legend Jerry Petitgoue.
It’s a play called “split the post” and works GREAT for getting a quick bucket against an aggressive defense.
